Dávila Kafe is a family-owned coffee company founded by David J. Dávila and Gaïna Y. Dávila . David and Gaïna come from a long line of coffee producers in Nicaragua and in Haiti. We exist to bring you the best of Haitian and Nicaraguan coffee with a bold taste of culture. We’re building a creative community around coffee while providing a platform on which the stories of young entrepreneurs, aspiring and distinguished artists can be showcased.

Meet The Team
David J. Dávila
Founder/CEO
David has a background in professional communications, English literature, and is a Fulbright Scholar. He's previously worked in Spain, Argentina, and Bangladesh. He enjoys showcasing the very best of Nicaraguan and Haitian culture through coffee, art, and community.
Gaïna Y. Dávila
Co-Founder
Gaïna is co-founder of Dávila Kafe and is a communications professional with a background in U.S. foreign policy. She has previously worked in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Barbados, and the Eastern Caribbean. On her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, and telling stories that uplift the human spirit.
Amie Culver
Communications Specialist
Amie serves as a content curator and has a background in international relations. She loves a good pour over, and enjoys experiencing history and culture through literature and travel. Her hobbies include hiking and camping with her husband. She thrives at building community everywhere she goes..
Daysi Silva Perez
Field Assistant
Daysi is a business professional. She has a background in philanthropy, and enjoys studying languages. Rich dark roasted coffee is her blend of choice. When she's not on the field she enjoys spending her time painting.
