March in Review

We’re bringing an end to a month jam packed with activity in celebration of Women’s History Month, and now a sense of global angst and uncertainty. For some, March already feels like an entire year due to the on-going global pandemic and economic downturn. We, however, want you to know that, as a small business, we’re committed to meeting your needs as it relates to community and coffee throughout this time and beyond. Rest assured that we’ve taken steps to ensure that all coffee deliveries are sanitary, “contact-free,” and expedient. As we bring an end to Women’s History Month, I want to take a moment to thank the women farm workers throughout Haiti, Nicaragua, and the rest of the global south without whom our coffee community would cease to exist. I believe that, together, we can create a world where women aren’t simply placeholders for “diversity and inclusion,” but recognized across the board as contributors who are deserving of equal pay for their work, creativity, and the contributions they make in their spheres of influence.
